God’s Moving Temple

   From Physical Buildings to the Restoration of Presence Through the experience of COVID-19, the greatest change in my perspective has been a deep conviction regarding "the Church beyond the building" and "the Church beyond the region." While I had always known intellectually that the Church is not a structure but a gathering of people who host God’s presence, it was only in the paradoxical situation of being unable to meet that I truly faced the reality of the Church outside its walls. Today, empowered by technology, the Temple has expanded into a space where people worldwide can worship and pray together, transcending all geographical limits. 1.
