God of the open door of faith

                                               

Scripture: Acts 14:27 & Ephesians 3:20

"On arriving there, they gathered the church together and reported all that God had done through them and how he had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles." (Acts 14:27)

Reflection: After completing their first missionary journey, Paul and Barnabas returned to the church in Antioch. They didn't just report their own hard work; they testified to what God had done through them and how He had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles.

It is so exciting to witness God’s wonderful work! When we align ourselves with God’s plan, the results go far beyond our limited imagination. As the Scripture says:

"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us." (Ephesians 3:20)

Prayer for Today’s Leadership & Prayer Retreat: Lord, as we gather today in Your presence, we begin by praising You. We thank You for all You have already done in our church and for the souls You have led to Christ through this ministry.

As we retreat together, please teach us and guide us. Show us where we should go, who we need to reach, what we need to do, and how to make it happen. Above all, remind us why we do all things, when to move in faith and when to wait in prayer: for Your glory and the expansion of Your Kingdom. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
